Description
The stepper motors in a 3D printer are controlled by a stepper motor drive board. With our upgraded drive board kit using the German Trinamic stepper drivers you can make your ZYYX printer over 10 dB quieter during printing, which means that the sound energy is reduced to one tenth. (-8 to -10 dB is perceived as halving the sound level.) You can use the drive board upgrade kit for both ZYYX Pro and ZYYX+ / Classic, and comes standard with the ZYYX Pro since the end of 2019.

Note! The extruder stepper motor does make marginal noise, so that is not included. If you still want to include that, we have an expanded kit with all 4 stepper motors, see ZX609DIY+.
Note2! Be careful when installing and follow the instructions carefully. If you mount them incorrectly they will most probably be fried, so bear that in mind, and follow the instructions carefully.
