Description
ZYYX proCarbon™ is a nylon-based filament reinforced with carbon fibers. Because of that, it is our strongest material, and we developed it to allow you and other professionals to rapidly produce customized, high-strength parts. Therefore, using ZYYX proCarbon™, you can easily create functional prototypes and end-use parts such as tools, jigs, and fixtures. It is so strong so that you can often replace jigs and fixtures normally machined in Aluminium, for example.

ZYYX proCarbon in Simplify3D
If used with other printers, we recommend 265 °C for the bottom layer, 255 °C above that, a 65 °C heated chamber, a hardened nozzle, and hardened dual-sided drive gears.
Storage
It is very important to protect the filament from moisture and moist air to keep the print quality. Always store the filament in the heated chamber, vacuum sealed (with desiccant), or in a dry-box.
