Description
The ZYYX Pro™ Standard/PA Build-Plate has a premium borosilicate glass base plate laminated with a custom plastic surface made specially for proNylon, proCarbon, and proGlass printing. This build-plate surface allows printing with the ZYYX engineering materials without any need for a heated plate or adding temporary materials to the plate surface.
The build-plate is held in place with three neodymium magnets, making it easy to to first remove the plate from the printer before detaching the prints from the plate.
A ZYYX Pro™ Standard Build-Plate will last for about 6-12 months of normal usage, but usually a lot longer. It will typically work better when it is worn and can be cleaned with Acetone to remove any grease or finger-prints that will deteriorate the adhesion. Never use glue with this build-plate, since that will ruin the plate. If the top surface gets major holes or the glass gets broken the plate should be replaced.
